Clare and I were recently interviewed and photographed (eek!) by the Western Daily Press as the Vintage Bazaar had been nominated for The National Vintage Awards.

The super photographer soon put as at our ease. The shoot took place in a lovely shop in Frome run by one of our great supporters Hayley Noad who is due to open a new shop in Frome next month which goes by the name of Lark Vintage.

Above is a view of our most recent fair in Frome, and we are back again for the The Giant Vintage Rag Market on Saturday 29th June. 40 stands piled high with textiles and other treasures, see the dedicated facebook for more details. Doors open at 9 am and the fair will close at 3 pm. Hope to see you there!

Frome, lovely Frome

Clare and I recently met up in Frome for a photo-shoot (more about that later..)

I was a few minutes early, so decided to take the opportunity to explore a little.... St Catherine's Hill was deserted as most of the shops do not open on a Monday.

Those girls (and boys) deserve a day off as this place is buzzing the rest of the time.

All of these fantastic shops have been wonderful in supporting The Vintage Bazaar, and never mind displaying posters or handing out flyers to like-minded customers.

Here at Vintage Bazaar HQ we encourage everyone visit the town (as well as our event) as there are so many super shops to see.....

Here are some of Clare's beautiful hats on show in the window of Poot.

It is our Giant Vintage Rag Market at The Cheese and Grain in Frome on Saturday 29th June.
Admission £1 and doors open at 9am. The fair will close at 3 pm which gives you ample time to stride up the hill to visit a few of the shops. Have fun!

PS I haven't forgotten the photo-shoot story...saving that for next time!
